Erkan Mese (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1990 and 1993, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical power engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA, in 1999. He worked at various positions in the industry including Advanced Energy Conversion, General Motors, and AVL. His research interests include electrical machines, electromechanical systems, power electronics, hybrid electric vehicles, and renewable energy systems.

Ali Bakbak (member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) from Niğde University, Niğde, Turkey, in 2012, and the M.Sc. degree from Celal Bayar University, Manisa, Turkey, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree from Ege University, İzmir, Turkey, in 2021, all in electrical and electronics engineering. His research interests include modeling, design, and control of electrical machines.
Mert Altintas received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from Ege University, Izmir, Turkey, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering at Ege University. His research interests include embedded systems, power electronics and control of electric machine systems.
